Our friends at Cross Training 103 have written a nice blog post providing us with three reasons why YOU should compete in this year’s Cross Training Games Open. If you are unfamiliar with the open, they also describe what it is inside the article.
I want to stress the point that YOU ARE READY! The excuse I’ve heard the most is “The workouts are too advanced for me and I’m not ready for that yet.” Well guess what? There is a scaled and masters version of every open workout, so anyone can complete it! What’s the worst that can happen? You mess up on your jump rope and get a bad score? So what, that can happen any given day in the gym. Don’t avoid participating in the open just because you are being held to a standard, have fun with it and give it your all! That’s all that matters anyway.
